About TimeToolSet

TimeToolSet is a collection of free tools for working with time. Every page is a tool you can use, not an article about one.

Why the site exists

Search for a timer, a time calculator or a time zone converter and you often land on a page of text that explains the idea and never quite does the job. TimeToolSet was started to fix that. Each page here has a working tool at the top, and any writing underneath is there to help you use it, not to fill space.

The tools fall into five groups: timers, time and work-hours calculators, date calculators and countdowns, time zone converters, and schedule planners. If a page does not do something real that you could not do with a quick glance at a clock, we would rather not publish it.

What is free and how it works

Every tool on the site is free to use. There is nothing to buy and no sign-up. The site is paid for by advertising, which is planned for later and is described on the privacy and cookie pages.

The tools run in your browser. When you type a time, a date or a plan, it is worked out on your own device and is not sent to us. Some tools remember settings such as your theme, your alarm sound or a saved layout, and they keep those in your browser's local storage on your device only.

What we do not do

To keep things simple and private, the site leaves out several things many web tools include.

  • No accounts, logins or passwords.
  • No file uploads. Nothing you enter is stored on our servers, because there is no database to store it in.
  • No selling of personal data.
  • No health, medical, legal or financial advice. The tools do arithmetic on times and dates and nothing more.

Who runs it

TimeToolSet is run by the TimeToolSet team. If you find a mistake, want to suggest a tool or have a question, the contact page explains how to reach us and what details help us fix a problem quickly.
