Timetable maker

A grid of periods down the side and days across the top. Edit the period times, fill in subjects, colour them and print the result.

Build a weekly timetable from a template or from scratch

Start from a template or an empty grid. Templates include a school week, a college class timetable, a study plan and a day plan. Rows are periods and columns are days. You can edit the time of every period, so a school with 40-minute lessons and a college with 90-minute lectures can both use the same layout.

Type a subject or activity into a cell, then give each subject its own colour. Colour makes a week readable at a glance: maths in blue, languages in green, free periods left blank. The tool suits school timetables, university class timetables and personal study plans, and it is used by students and parents in India, the UK, Kenya, the US and elsewhere.

Printing uses your browser. Choose print, then Save as PDF to keep a file or send the page to a printer for the bedroom wall or a locker door. For a spreadsheet copy, export CSV. The share link stores the timetable in the address, so you can send it to a classmate or open it on a phone.

Nothing is uploaded. The grid lives in your browser and in any link you copy, so a child can make a timetable without creating an account. If your week changes at term time, edit the cells and print a fresh copy. Because periods are rows, adding a lunch or registration slot is just another row with its own time, and it can be left uncoloured so it stands apart from the lessons.

Questions about this tool

Can I change the period times?

Yes. Every period has an editable start and end time, so you can match your own bell schedule or lecture hours.

Is there a template for a study plan?

Yes. Pick Study plan, then rename the subjects and edit the times to suit you. School week, college class timetable and day plan templates are there too.

How do I print or save it as a PDF?

Use the print button and pick Save as PDF as the printer in your browser dialog. Landscape often fits a five-day grid best.

Can I open it in a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export CSV and open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or any similar program.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up. Use the share link if you want to reopen the same timetable later or send it to someone.
