Working days with your own weekend and holidays
This page has two modes. Count mode takes a start date and an end date and counts the weekdays between them. Add or subtract mode takes a date and a number of business days and gives you the date that many working days later or earlier. Delivery windows, notice periods and invoice due dates are typical uses.
Saturday and Sunday are the default weekend. If your week runs differently, switch the weekend to Friday and Saturday, which suits many countries in the Middle East. The days you pick are skipped in every count.
There is no built-in holiday list, and that is deliberate. Public holidays differ by country, by region and by employer, and many move from year to year. Instead, type the holiday dates yourself, one per line, and the page leaves them out as it counts. A holiday that falls on a weekend is not removed twice.
You get a result you can trust for the calendar you actually follow, rather than a guess about someone else's. Check any contract wording about how business days are defined before relying on a date.

Questions about this calculator
Why are public holidays not included?
They vary by country, region and employer, and the page cannot know yours. Enter your own dates so the result matches your calendar.
Can I have a three-day weekend or a half-day Friday?
You can choose the two weekend options only. For a long weekend, add the extra days as holidays.
What if I enter a holiday that is already on a weekend?
It has no extra effect, since that day is already skipped.
Does the start date count as a business day?
Not when you add or subtract. The count starts from the day after your date, so adding 1 to a Friday gives Monday.
