Two minutes for a quick reset

Two minutes is 120 seconds. That is long enough for a rapid tidy of one desk, a brief stand-up round where each person gets a short say, a wait for a kettle-length pause, or a snappy brain-dump where you write every idea you have without stopping.

Press Start and the disc begins to empty while the digits run down. The "Ends at" line tells you the exact clock time the bell will sound, so you can say it aloud to a room. Once it rings, the line reads "Rang at".

You can change the sound under the buttons, enter full screen with the F key, and use Copy link to share the page with your chosen sound. The page asks the screen to stay awake while it runs, as far as the browser allows.

Some people use two minutes as a starting rule: if a task would take less than that, do it now, and if you are procrastinating, work on it for just two minutes and then decide. The bell gives that decision a clear moment, and nothing about the page asks for a sign-up or a setting.

Questions about this timer

Exactly 120 seconds.

Can it sound a different tone each time?

Does it work on a tablet in landscape?

Yes. The layout resizes, and full screen makes the digits as large as the display allows.
