Visual Timer

A colored disc shrinks as time passes, so you can see what is left without reading numbers.

Time you can see instead of read

Time on a normal timer is a number you have to read and compute. A visual timer turns it into an amount of color. A full disc means the whole length is left, a half disc means half, and an empty disc means time is up. Even a young child or someone across the room can read that.

Choose from four color themes, set any duration, or tap a quick preset. The digits can be hidden when you want only the shape on screen, which helps when numbers cause pressure or when the display is shared on a projector and you want a calmer view.

It suits getting ready routines, a short turn at a game, a quiet reading slot, a focus session with the clock out of view, or a shared screen on a video call. For teacher features like exam banners and a custom end message, see the classroom timer.

Questions about this timer

Can I hide the numbers?

Yes. There is an option to hide the digits so only the disc is shown.

Which color theme should I pick?

Any of the four. If colors are hard for someone to tell apart, pick the theme with the strongest contrast against your background.

Can I put it on a projector or TV?

Yes. Open the page on the connected computer and use full screen so the disc fills the display.

How is it different from the classroom timer?

This page is about the shape of the time left. The classroom timer adds a silent mode, an end message and an exam mode.
