A quarter of an hour for meetings and breaks

Fifteen minutes is a quarter of an hour and a very common calendar slot. Use it for a short catch-up call, a coffee break, a speed-networking round, a timed written answer, or the gap between two parts of a long session.

As a break timer, it is easy to say aloud: "back at 3:15". Start the timer at 3:00 PM and the "Ends at" line shows 3:15 PM, so everyone in the room can see when to return without checking a watch.

The disc drains steadily, the digits are large and the tab title shows the time left. Choose one of four sounds, use Space to start or pause and F for full screen. Copy link keeps your choice so a co-organizer can open the same page.

Because fifteen is a fraction of the hour, it also helps with planning. Two of them make half an hour, and four fill a full hour, so a morning of short tasks fits into a visible grid. People who use it as a daily rule, such as fifteen minutes to tidy, find it easy to repeat.

Questions about this timer

How many seconds are in fifteen minutes?

900 seconds.

Can I run it on a meeting-room display?

Yes. Open the page, press F for full screen and the digits fill the display.

What if the computer sleeps?

The page reads the clock, so it shows the right time on waking, but it cannot play the sound while asleep. Adjust the power settings for longer timers.
