Six weeks: a term-sized block of time
Six weeks equals 42 days, so the answer is always the same weekday as today. The page reads your device date, adds the weeks and shows the date, the ISO week number, the days from now and, on a second line, the date six weeks ago.
Six weeks is the length of a half school term in many places, a short course, a coaching block, a training programme for a skill, or a project phase with a review at the end. Because the weekday repeats, it also suits plans built around one fixed day, such as a weekly class that finishes on a Wednesday.
Counting in weeks is cleaner than counting in days or months, since it never lands you on a different weekday. If you want a sixth session on a weekly schedule, remember that the first session is day zero, so five weeks later is the sixth meeting and six weeks later is the seventh.
Compare with the 8 weeks page if your plan runs a fortnight longer, or type any number of weeks into the custom box. The page also lists the days from now, so you can see that 42 days is a little longer than the 30 day mark and well short of the 60 day one, which helps when a plan was first written in days and you are translating it into a calendar of weeks.
