Thirty seconds for short rounds and rest gaps

Thirty seconds is half a minute, a handy length for an elevator pitch round, a rest gap between sets of anything that you are timing, a quick quiz question, or a short pause in a meeting while people think.

The disc drains steadily and the digits are big, so a group can see it. If you need a series of thirty second rounds with a tone at each switch, the interval timer can repeat them. This page is for a single run you start by hand.

The "Ends at" line shows the second it will ring, for instance 5:30:30 PM for a 5:30:00 PM start. Use Space to start or pause, R to reset and F for full screen. Copy link keeps your sound choice.

Half a minute works well for icebreakers in a group, where each person has thirty seconds to introduce themselves. Twelve people take six minutes in all, which is easy to plan around. The bell lets the host move on politely without cutting anyone off mid-word.
